VirtuallyAnywhere has recently begun installing state-of-the art IP PBX phone systems providing significant upgrades from the legacy PBX systems.

In addition to standard PBX features like ring groups, pickup groups and paging, the VirtuallyAnywhere PBX also includes call center capabilities, unified messaging, faxing and conference bridges just to name a few.

In addition to all these latest features, the customer is most impressed by the fact that there are no per-user or per trunk license fees.

The retail chain will also benefit from the use of Spectralink WIFI handsets and smart devices that will allow the retailer to integrate “Buy Online Pickup In Store” or BOPIS capability.  This means that customers can purchase products online and the web application will notify customer service representatives in the store.  This means the CSRs can pick the product off the shelves, and respond via SMS message to the customer to let them know the order is ready to be picked up.  Once the customer arrives, they can in turn SMS message the CSR that they are curbside and the CSR can deliver the order.  This messaging is all done via the WIFI phones integrated into the PBX.
